Well said Anand, the writer seems not ready to take any side as he might be confused however will like to ask him if some contract killer kills your dear one will you hold no grudge against him saying that he was just doing his duty??? anyway I can say that many things depends and we are no one to give judgment as we are not mature enough to understand all the aspect of life.

Thanks Nasreen for bringing fact as I was searching for same and i came across this blog.

I don't know where this particular blog writer lives. If in India, after 26/11 he might have understood whether both of them are killers or not?If not for the Indian army many of us cannot sit peacefully at home and blog as one pleases. This is not my perspective this is a fact.

One massive problem with the statement:

Fact is they both are KILLERS. And if one doesn’t kill the other, the other will kill this one.

This is not true. It should be: if one (the major) doesn't kill the other (the terrorist), the other will kill others like you and me.

This is the fact, that makes all the difference between the two KILLERS.

Well, in reference to the above written text, I just have one thing to say, we all might forget who we are for the kind of life we live, but at the end of the day let us not bring in the concept of "Us vs Our Lifeless Side" because it is easy to speak and write flowery words but it is equally difficult to follow the same, the gentleman who wrote the above blog should understand here we are not to justify what is right and wrong because you don't hold any right to justify anything either, if read between the lines, one can say the a man of your intelligence is so meek that he is justifying the actions of some stupids who have got an opportunity to be called media persons.
Also, Would like to clarify that I am not even talking about A major being killed or an actor is acquitted, here,I am talking about foolishness of media and foolishness of we the people of this country who believe in what is being told, because we can't have what is shown so what's the harm in living in our own fantasies... This reminds me of Khalil Gibran's story of a Dumb wife. So freinds let's live the reality and Sir, with due respect, stop defending media for your own cause.

Hey guys, I got the same forwarded mail. When I ran a google search I learnt Major Manish Pitambare was killed in Anantnag while saving the life of his partner in an operation against Mohammad Ashraf Shah, commander of the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen's south Kashmir division on November 27th 2006. He was awarded the Kirti Chakra on 25th of January. If so, then the media dont need to run the piece on Ausgust 22nd 2007, the day Sanjay Dutt was released from prison.
Before being judgemental let us examine the true facts.

Dude. You are truly a lost soul. In your quest for objectivity and neutrality, you seem to have become a mix of cynical and apathetic. You might just soon lose yourself. For there is no universal truth. You can only get a perspective. But there is human sacrifice here, so damn it, take a side man! take a side! Whether Indian army killed some Kashmiris or not, whether India is ruled by corrupt politicians or not, whether majority of Indians are apathetic or not, it does not alter the greatness of sacrifice of this man.

Thanks AJ!

I think what we are gonna see in the future, not just in Sanju's case, would be worth the wait.

I believe that India as a nation will see good things happening soon.

Chill!

nice blog. I believe Sanju wont be given a chance if the judge wants india to learn a lesson. On the other hand, it could have implications on those who want to come back to life. They would definitely not want to spend their rest of life in jail. Can I say that the punishment has to be chose very carefully. And with all due respect, not showing major's news does not intend to hurt any emotions.

Lets not bring media into all this. Both the news are of equal importance to me. As, salute to major who laid his life for terrorists. Also, an attempt has to be made remove terrorism from its root. Might be Sanju's case could be seen as a step towards that. Lets wait and watch.
